As some of you know, the
Singapore Flyer was temporarily suspended yesterday and I was one of the unlucky casualties.
I was setting up for the Wedding Solemnization Capsule at 5pm which was suppose to be ready by 5.30pm but the
Flyer got jammed halfway and I was at the 3 O'clock position. At first I didn't panic as throughout the 74 times I've been up the
Flyer, it wasn't the first time I experienced the
Flyer at a halt. I just remained calm and keep calling my boss for the next 3 hours; wanting to know when the
Flyer could start operating again. Then suddenly I saw a few men climbing the
Flyer ladders and started to get curious. I observed them until my boss called me,
boss: girl, sorry to say but the wheel isn't going to start moving anytime soon.me: haiya. i so bored already up here.boss: ya. they going to bring u down by the rope.me: uh? wad rope? u kidding rite?boss: ya ya. see the capsule in front of u. can u see the woman dangling out?me: OMG?!? I'll have to do that too????boss: ya...me: BOSS!!! I DON'T WANT!!!!!!!!If you read the
Newpaper for today, yup, it's me at the second page. Crying my way down. Thank god I have my colleagues and
Flyer crew to cheer me on as I was so scared.

I really salute the rescue team who came and calmed me down and brought me safely to the ground. They're super brave to climb up to my capsule and help me. I really really thank them and I don't how else I can express me gratitude.

Woohoo. Just got back from shopping. Spend bout $200 in total. May seem a little to some of you but it seems a lot to me. Been wanting to get the maroon shoes from Heatwave but when I try it on, it looked weird on me. So I settled for a pair of black and green heels. And I think my Vans polka-dot pumps is super cute!
I'm still waiting for my Victoria's Secret panties and bronzer to arrive via mail.
Okies. Will most prolly be selling off my MP4 tomorrow. I already have 2 people wanting to buy it. Shall have an early sleep as I'm working tomorrow!!
Hohoho. Finally got my PSP. Addicted to it.
Anyway, thank god for my off day yesterday and today. Finally get to rest and see my family member's faces. Tmr all the way to Sunday, I'll be working from 3pm. This Friday will be super busy as:
- 2pm - 6 Champagne Flights
- 4pm - 1 Cocktail Flight
- 5pm - 1 Cocktail Flight and 2 Wedding Solemnization Flights
- 5.30pm - 1 Wedding Solemnization Flight
so... I don't know if there's enough manpower on that day. Hopefully there is so I won't be tired.
On 15 December, I'll be having 2 interviews. Don't know which one I should attend. Okies. Off to meet my sister for some light shopping.
