idiot: I have a reservation under Mr ..... for tmr. I would like to check if it is already cancelled.
me: pardon, under Mr David is it?
idiot: no. Mr Ramesh
me: Mr Ramesh... yup, it's already cancelled
idiot: and the one under Mr David?
me: Sorry. your reservation is under Mr Ramesh right?
idiot: yes
me: yes it has already been cancelled
idiot: ya. and the one under Mr David?
me: sorry mdm but Mr David's reservation is entirely different from Mr Ramesh and my guests do deserve their privacy about their reservations
idiot: oh... bye

call 2:
I reach work around 8.45am today and there wasn't any calls till this lady (around 9.45am)

idiot2: I've been calling since 9am and there was no answer! I left voice messages and no one return it!
me: my apologies mdm, may I know what is it regarding?
idiot2: I have an appointment at 10.30am today
me: (wtf? all my colleagues start at 11am) may I know with whom your appointment is?
idiot2: I don't know! don't you all keep records of all your appointments?!
me: my apologies once again, may I know what is your appointment regarding?
idiot2: my meni and pedi session!!
me: eeerrmmm mdm.... this is a restaurant you're calling.
idiot2: ouh really? must have gotten the wrong number then.*hang up*
me: wtf?! all that scolding for nothing?!

...and I checked the voicemail, there was no new messages... what a day to start with
